Whether you are working on a large-scale project, a new lawn around your home or just repairing a small area the Bitterroot Turf Farm is here to help!

Kentucky Blue Blend:  Our most popular turf comprised of a blend of Kentucky Bluegrass designed for our region’s climate and conditions.  This beautiful dark green grass is perfect for your yard and will grow well in sunny or shady areas while withstanding the wear and tear of your family enjoying time in the yard.

Fescue Blend:  This yard quality turf is made up of 80% Fescue and 20% Kentucky Bluegrass and is soft to the touch but tough against the wear and tear of kids and pets!  Fescue grasses are a more drought tolerant grass requiring less water once established because the roots tend to grow deeper into the soil.

Northwest Native Mix:  A mixed species sod comprised of 66% turf type Fescues and 34% Canadian Bluegrass grow together to form a more natural looking blend that is native to the great Northwest.  This blend is also a yard quality grass but can also be used in outlying areas due to its drought tolerance and natural look.  *CURRENTLY SOLD OUT* due to high demand. More should be available around September 2011.

Fertilizer:  25-10-10 blend with iron. Covers 10,000 sq. ft. Available upon request.

Delivery:  Our local delivery area includes Missoula, Lolo, Florence, Stevensville, Victor and Hamilton.  But we are happy to deliver to most places in Western Montana and even into Idaho.  Please call to find out about current delivery rates.

Sod cuts available:

1. Hand Rolls - 10 square foot standard roll (2ft x 5ft).  These rolls can be handled by anyone that can lift about 40 pounds.  Our delivery drivers can spread pallets of these rolls around your yard to make your job easier.
2. Big Rolls - Up to 400 square feet. Time Saver! Perfect for larger jobs, big rolls roll out easily with our specialized equipment.  You will be amazed at how quickly we can cover large, open areas with high quality, green turf.  Please see videos below!
